FESTIVAL ANTIGONISH SUMMER THEATRE, 2019

Sunday December 2, and  Monday, December 3 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Location: Neptune Theatre, Windsor Studio, Halifax N.S.

MAIN STAGE

Festival Antigonish is looking for Actors for summer 2019. Please note the ages listed should be considered “playable age range”. Festival Antigonish is a repertory company and actors play multiple roles.

Actor 1 – Male, age 28-35

Actor 2 – Male, age 28-35, CULTURAL BACKGROUND IS SOUTH ASIAN

Actor 3 – Female, age 55-65, CULTURAL BACKGROUND IS SOUTH ASIAN

Actor 4 – Female, age 25 – 30

Actor 5 – Male, aged 60-70

Required for Audition

Please indicate which roles you would like to audition for. Actors will be given sides. Only those who are selected to audition will be contacted.

Video submissions will be accepted for the South Asian characters only.

Festival Antigonish is seeking a diverse cast, and actors from all backgrounds are encouraged to audition.

YOUNG COMPANY

Festival Antigonish is holding auditions for emerging actors for its Young Company. This 10-week contract includes rehearsals and performances for our Family Stage, Theatre-on-the-Town (creating and performing short plays around the town of Antigonish), and teaching our theatre camps for children. We are looking for 4 actors with singing abilities.

Required for Audition

One song (one verse and one chorus). A Capella or bring your own equipment.

Two short, contrasting monologues, one of which you wrote or devised.

Festival Antigonish is seeking a diverse cast, and actors from all backgrounds are encouraged to audition.

Submission Deadline for both Main Stage and Young Company is November 22, 2018
